My teaching philosophy moves me to create a learning environment that tends to the needs of the students in terms of learning capabilities and tendencies. I believe that it is crucial to understand how children learn individually and allow for them to explore their own methods in order to understand the curriculum. In addition, I simply want to foster the minds of the next generations in order to best form their habits to come to love learning. Overall, I want to provide classes that students enjoy coming to, as well a teacher who students remember having learned from and have harnessed a true education.
My classroom management philosophy primarily is a mix of Love and Logic and Conscious Discipline. This is because I believe in understanding and building relationships with my students within a solid system of discipline and behavioral procedures. I see myself as a mentor of young minds but also someone who can openly discuss anything with the students. I am also a person who believes in firm discipline as well as having fun at the right times, thus I believe that a strict setting and time for fun can belong in a cohesive environment for the students. So, as a whole, I see my classroom as both disciplined as well as being able to enjoy the little things on a daily basis.
